Ingredients

  • 2 refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 ½ cups strawberry preserves
  • 1 egg + 1 tablespoon water egg wash
  • 1 can funfetti frosting

Instructions

  • Begin by preheating the oven to 400F.
  • Roll out a pie crust and carefully position it in the cookie pan or pie dish.
  • Generously spread strawberry preserves on top.
  • Place the second crust over it, ensuring a secure fit by crimping the edges together using a fork.
  • Create small holes across the top crust.
  • Give it a light brush of egg wash.
  • Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until it turns a delightful golden brown hue.
  • Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
  • Apply a layer of frosting and rainbow sprinkles or other toppings if using on top of the pop tart.
  • Slice and enjoy.
