- 2 refrigerated pie crust
- 1 ½ cups strawberry preserves
- 1 egg + 1 tablespoon water egg wash

Begin by preheating the oven to 400F.
Roll out a pie crust and carefully position it in the cookie pan or pie dish.
Generously spread strawberry preserves on top.
Place the second crust over it, ensuring a secure fit by crimping the edges together using a fork.
Create small holes across the top crust.
Give it a light brush of egg wash.
Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until it turns a delightful golden brown hue.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
Apply a layer of frosting and rainbow sprinkles or other toppings if using on top of the pop tart.
Slice and enjoy.
